hermes tray dejavu...

While watching "The City" tonight, I realized that the Hermés tray image I had posted earlier is actually from Olivia Palermo's apartment. I had no idea! lol. I found some more images of her place though and I am loving her closet! And how cute is the framed b&w image of Audrey in the background?

I'm actually not sure! I found this tray in this photo of Olivia's apartment, and the other was a Chanel tray in Nicky Hilton's apartment. The article relating to Nicky's said it was an antique find... but since the two trays look so similar i'm thinking they may have been produced by a certain company - don't quote me on that though. I would suggest a google search! I'll try and look around too, i woulnd't mind getting a Chanel one. They're so pretty!

I enlisted some help from another blog.... she said to call around to different antique stores, perhaps Hudson in Boston OR there were faux trays made in Mexico at the NY Designer Gift Show... try their website.

I actually have this SAME Hermes tray that I purchased from Donna Parker Habitat, Ltd. Antiques in the Hamptons. I am selling it because it doesn't fit our decor. I just purchased it, so it hasn't even been used. If you are interested, you can email me at stylebyverike@gmail.com :) Thanks!

These are knock-offs, made in Mexico, you can buy them at the gift show. All these "antique" dealers are buying them and selling them as vintage. The real Hermes trays are wood with orange Lacquer.

i would love to purchase a knock off of the orange Hermes tray. Who is the company that sells this from Mexico? I have done many google searches with no luck.
