whew...

All moved in! I have sooo many boxes to unpack still, but hopefully I can get it all done this week. I am loving the new place, windows make such a difference - there's so much light now! Once I have everything all cleaned up I'll take some pics to share, but for now it's back to unpacking, lol.

Oh and since we have so many interior design blogs out there - here's a random question for you - what do you clean real hardwood floors with? I'm afraid of getting them too wet or using the wrong cleaning liquid, lol. Any tips would be great, thanks!

Hello! I clean my floors with a very mild solution of white vinegar and water. I have used this for years and works well. If your floors are not sealed with polyurethane, then use plain old Johnsons paste wax, (I apply by hand) and then buff with buffer or by hand if you do not want to work out for the next 2 weeks. hope this was helpful. That's what my bf suggested too! I might try that, with a really wringed out mop... I don't want to soak them... but I have to get rid of all this builder's dust! lol. thanks!

Oh windows and light make all the difference I think. Sounds like you'll be busy ~ but in a good way. Have fun!

Exciting! :) Hmmm...we use a swiffer solution - probably not the best, but it smells nice is fairly gentle. Can't wait to see your place~

Hey Daniella. There's this mop from method (the oMop) and it comes with something called 'good for wood', anyway, it's awesome! There's nothing better to clean real hardwood floors with... plus it's totally non-toxic and friendly for the planet! :) You can get it at like shoppers or Canadian Tire...

Can't wait to see your place!

Oh yeah!!! I totally forgot about 'method' Amanda, i think i'm going to get that... the non-toxic will probably be better for Miley too. Can't wait for you girls to come by! Hopefully i'm more unpacked by them, lol.

Can't wait to see pics of the new place! Moving is exhausting but it's so fun to see your belongings in an all-new setting! So inspiring :)

My back still hurts from the move but it is a really nice place. The giant windows and great kitchen did it for me.
