on safari...

Speaking of travelling... every once and a while I get all obsessed with the safari look. Even though khaki washes me out and bugs scare me, lol, I still love the idea of camping under gauzy white netting and treehouses in the sky. Plus, who wouldn't want to feed a baby elephant dressed in Louis Vuitton? Too cute. Have you ever been on safari? I'd love to hear about it!

I have been on safari! While it is an amazing experience, and my villa looked similar to the pic above, the rest of the safari was not near as romantic or classy, as your dreamy pics! Rhinos are one of the most dangerous animals, (but fascinating as they sweat red at night) we kept waking up to rhinos outside our villa. Everyone should go on one safari in their lifetime. Definitely a great expereince!

I have been on safari. I'm kind of the same way about bugs, etc. but the entire experience was amazing. Our lodges, the setting - all of it was dreamy. At one of the lodges, we had elephants, including a baby one, literally at our doorstep. (There was a gate so no worries.) It's definitely a must do. Another beautiful post, Daniella!

The baby elephant in LV made me think of Hatari and Henry Mancini's baby elephant song! Darling.

I grew up in Africa so I've definitely been on safari - several times! It's one of my very favourite things to do. I am yet to come across a baby elephant in a LV blanket...

lovely! xo
