{fantasy vday plans} a spring awakening...

I am so over the snow. I'm ready for spring and all the great things it brings! I wish for Valentine's Day that it was warm enough for a springtime walk, where all you need is a light trench. I'd be off to a fancy café for brunch, and then home to relax with the sun streaming in... soon I suppose. Instead, but just as enjoyable, i'll be making a yummy dinner at home with my boyfriend, staying warm and cozy inside... what are your Valentine's plans? Dinner out? Getting together with your girlfriends? Love to hear from you.

This is my fantasy too *sigh* The hub and I will be staying in, but that's not stopping us from making a fabulous brunch :)

God that waffle is teasing me right now. So want one at the moment, preferably a gaufre liege from Belgium but heck even an Ego would be fine right now.

Over the snow too. It won't stop out the window!

Oh, keeping Vday low key this year. I told S all I want is flowers, a kiss, and a card:)

Love this! (Most likely, we'll skip the VDay festivities and just be packing this year! :(...)

I love the first photo, but I'm also obsessed with trench coats and didn't initially notice the lovey-dovey theme. :) I'm celebrating the 14th on the 15th which shows how closely I pay attention to holidays.

My husband and I are planning to go out to dinner, but your idea of staying home and cooking sounds pretty enticing. We will probably just end up facing a crowd...
Cooking anything special?

I completely agree - I'm SO over the cold and snow. I moved south for a reason and somehow the weather from up north has followed me. This valentines day I will be spending it with my girlfriends - dinner and the movie "Valentines Day"!

Simone - Thank you :)

Roxy - sounds yummy! brunch is always the best meal...

me_Catherine - oooo! dream shoes? sounds lovely!

pen.ny - sounds like a perfect vday!

Design Darling - Um.... LUCKY! Enjoy!

Connie - Still very exciting! You found a place so quickly... I hope your move goes well.

Marie - I love this trench... especially with a wide black ribbon belt.

Lenka - A girl's night in sounds great! I love that a bunch of friends can spend Valentine's together and have lots of fun.

Jess - A nice dinner out will be fun too though! My bf and I are making our first vegan meal together. It's something i'm trying out and he learned how to cook some stuff from a vegetarian friend for me. Isn't that sweet of him? :)

Flourish - Yes! Spring will be here soon enough... I just keep wishing and hoping... it's my March bday, i'm a spring baby for sure!

Colleen - Not cliche at all! That sounds so romantic.. have a wonderful time!

V-Day is here! I hope you're enjoying it! I made yummy V-day red velvet cupcakes, and off to a seafood dinner tonight. You see, it's so warm here that I'll be al fresco dining by the moonlight :)
