february fandango + weekend links...

This weekend I am headed to a Christmas party - yes, you read that right. Since everyone's schedule's are always so jam-packed in December, my work hosts our Christmas party at the end of every February. Except it of course, isn't Christmas themed. Instead there's a new theme each year, where everyone dresses up (well, almost everyone). In the past i've been to a Speakeasy party (flapper costumes and gangster suits), Crystal Ball (where they had three psychic's and appt's lined up for everyone), and James Bond (gambling tables and all). This year it's the February Fandango - a western-themed affair, lol. Luckily for me I already have a cowgirl costume from last year... now I just have to convince my boyfriend to wear a sheriff badge and guns on his belt. I'm wishing mine were crystal studded like Kate Moss above though...

What are you up to this weekend? Anything exciting or just taking it easy? Thanks for stopping this week, I love reading everyone's comments. Have a good one, and here's a few of this week's links...

More Olivia (she was also on ELLE.com – is The City starting up again soon or something?)
Perfect shade of apricot...
Excited for this bookclub...
A really enlightening TED Talk by chef Jamie Oliver... (I encourage you to watch it if you have the time... he makes a lot of really great points.)

I did not even recognize that was Kate Moss ?!

I love the idea of holiday party months after the holidays. Way too hectic to cram it in during December.

Have a terrific time! Marija

Love the idea of a New Year party instead of another December one! Yay for Jamie Oliver - I heard him speak at TED and he was so so so inspiring. The TED community is working all out to help make his 'dream' work - very exciting indeed!
