less is more...

Feeling a little all over the place lately, and seeking serenity in a few simple settings... be it a calming bath, a cozy seat or the smell of fresh linens. This four-day week has felt a little long to me, and can't wait for the weekend to begin. I have a trip to the farmer's market planned, where I can walk around without worry and pick up some fresh produce along the way...

Oh, I love a pure white bath! And freshly watered linens will always make me think of the laundry room at my grandparents' chateau, where the linens were watered with fresh lavender essence from the garrigue. I used to love to walk into the laundry room just to inhale the air. There is no better preparation for a sound and peaceful sleep.
