bright mornings + single blooms...

Quite enjoying waking up to bright, sunny mornings now, and thinking how lovely it would be to have an en suite terrace with french doors, and a collection of pretty, glass vases with single blooms or leafy, budding branches. This room gives me such a giddy, spring feeling. Can't you just feel the warm breeze blowing through?

It's difficult with a toddler, but I did this last summer in the front mudroom, changing they type of bloom every few days. It was lovely! Can't wait to do it again this season!

I love collections of glass bottles and that one is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. :)

My favourite part of spring and summer is having fresh flowers in my home!

Ahhhh. How fresh and relaxing. I have a big jar full of daffodils on my kitchen table right now and they smell exactly how these photos feel.

I never thought to reuse and arrange old glass bottles like in one of the photos. Any suggestions for an old pinata?

I would be utterly content all day in that bed with a good book. I love it!
