it's friday + on the bicycle hunt...

Friday is here at last! I am so looking forward to catching up on sleep and enjoying some of the sunshine this weekend. Don't you just find it so hard to concentrate, being cooped up indoors during the work week, when it's so nice outside? We should really have impromptu "Spring Days", where we all head outside to play...

This weekend i'm hoping to discover a hidden away gem, as i've been on the hunt for a sweet, little vintage bicycle, and my Dad informed me last night that my Grama may still have an old-school Italian Graziella bicycle at home (and yes it totally rhymes with my first and last name - i think it's fate). I'd much rather spend money on fixing that one up, than buying brand new. I had no idea bikes were so expensive, but they're sure are some cute ones out there! Hopefully my Grama's has survived in the garage all these years. Do you have a pretty vintage bike (or new one with a vintage design)? I'd love to see!

That sounds like a good weekend! I love being outside & am so glad the spring is now here! I have also been wanting a vintage bike but everyones prices are crazy out there. Good luck with finding that hidden away gem.

That little vintage bike sounds fabulous! We're on the same wave-length because I posted up beauties on bikes today too. ;)

I love my little bike, but it definitely is not vintage. I do swoon for those great vintage rides though...Hope you put up pix if you get the bike!

Happy Weekend!

I have a Kona Africabike, which I really love, but I would love love LOVE to get my old Peugeot back...an old boyfriend from very long ago borrowed it and I've never seen it since :' -(
The Africabike is so pretty and nice to ride on flat roads, but I can't really take it anywhere else! Plus, hills are pretty painful!

Picture here, though!

Oh, I think it's meant to be! I hope the bike turns out to be perfect/ Both David + I are on the hunt for great bikes...but I definitely want one with no decals. Something clean + that's so so hard to find! Do share if you find something or your Grama's bike -- I would love to see :)

Hope you have the loveliest weekend*
