country getaway...

Each time summer rolls around I often imagine how lovely it would be to have a simple, little country house to escape to on the weekends... a place to enjoy some sunshine, fresh, farmer's market food, and a little less electronic distraction! (Just for the weekend though, because you know i'm coming back on Monday to blog, lol.) Country chic sounds pretty lovely right now though...

Oh what I would give to be on that patio with a glass of wine! Lovely pictures.

Ooohhh I love love the third picture. What a great way to enjoy those cold winter nights, or days, where it is pouring rain outside. Have a big fireplace in a little home type shed close to your house, and just light the fire and sit down with a friend.. or a lover.. oh! gosh. :)

I love that chair in the bottom photo.
I get to live the country life every day. And I must say, it's quite nice. Yesterday we had a hot rain in the evening and the smell was just fantastic. Wish you could have seen it. ;)
