secret garden...

Hidden deep in the forest amongst tangled roots and wildflowers, wouldn't it be lovely to escape away to a little secret garden? A special place to call your own, hidden away under lock and key... the perfect spot to daydream the the day away, reading and relaxing, surrounded by nature... what a dream right?

Oh this was one of my very favourite books/ movies growing up. There's something just so impossibly romantic about a secret magical space...

Whimsical post - love that rusted key. I used to love the Secret Garden book as a child, one of my favourites. Lou x

Beautiful! I've always loved the Secret Garden and having my own secret garden was a fantasy for me when I was smaller. I would still love my own secret garden!

Beautiful! I often long for a hidden spot where magic can happen. I think you might have found it....

I never would have seen it if someone hadn't blogged about a copy of it elsewhere with credit. So the stingy little caveat at the bottom about copies misunderstands how people find things for each other on the Intertubes. I thank you for your contribution and I thank the kind soul who led me to it.

Anonymous - Unfortunately since you may not read my blog regularly, you have actually misunderstood the "caveat".

This note at the bottom of my posts for a while, was for a certain blog who was stealing every single one of my posts, changing a couple words around, and then crediting the posts to themselves. They were blatantly stealing my content, and as well as not linking the photos to the proper owners & bloggers like I had. So not only were they not crediting my post, the weren't crediting where I got the photos from.

This note would appear on their site each time they stole a post since they were using a direct RSS feed of my site, and with the help of their url provider the blog was taken down from the internet.

I have absolutely no problem with people using my posts/the photos I find on their blog as long as they credit back to Dress, Design & Decor with a link. In fact I encourage it! This blogger world is all about discovering and sharing and I really appreciate the bloggers/readers who credit back to my blog. I understand if a link got lost along the way, it's bound to happen with the internet been so large, but openly stealing all of my posts for months was unacceptable behaviour.
