treat yourself to...

Ahh to live in Paris with Ladurée just around the corner! Macarons, chocolates, cakes and pastries galore... to satisfy any sweet tooth! I've been craving a pretty little treat just like this, with a cup of tea in hand... the perfect way to sneak a little midnight snack if I do say so myself (although maybe not every night, lol)...

So beautiful... I could go for a cup of tea and a macaron right about now! Somehow pretty food is just more fun to eat!

How delightful! I'd be in a sugar induced daze if Laduree was around the corner...

You don't need to live in paris to have this decadent experience, I live in Tokyo and was in Laduree this very weekend buying wonderful macaroon confections and my daughter who is a Laduree addict at 15 no less, cannot leave empty handed! Love the whole package from the beautifully cut ribbon to the goodies inside!

So excited you posted these! I took some pics when I was there and posted them on my blog:

Check out the ceiling in that place!

Hi, Daniella,
I agree-- I love me some Ladurée, too, and think a visit is a MUST for anyone who finds herself in Paris. BUT, for EVEN YUMMIER macarons, I recommend the ones made at Le Bon Marché. The store itself is a treat, the food hall is a place I could spend HOURS (o, the photos I sneakily snapped last time!), and the macarons are subtler, less sweet and more complex than the ones at Ladurée. Also, spending some time comparing the macarons of Paris (Ladurée, Le Bon Marché and Pierre Hermé) is an excellent way to spend a day! :)
