I suppose it was a little more than a whisper today, with the super strong winds, but you can totally feel that Winter is on it's way. The days are shorter and nights are darker, making it gloomy and cozy all at once. I'm feeling a bit braver this year though in my super warm coat and soft sweaters, but still love a cup of tea and toast indoors where you're safe from cold winds and chattering teeth. I do love those moody type of colours though, mixed with a little bright yellow and orange, cranberry and eggplant, it's wintry but still warm like a flickering candle in the evening. Speaking of which, i'm off for that cup of tea, with a favourite new candle lit (Thanks Linda!) and a new book to enjoy...

All of these images are perfect for the weather that is consuming the Pacific NW - a snow day tomorrow and snow still falling outside. Thank you for such beauty. Have a lovely rest of your week.

What a fantastic post to wake up to! I'm definitely ready for tea, toast, and a warm sweater right now.
I love these images, they just make me feel so cozy, and it's been undeniably wonky weather in NY lately, so that's saying something! ;)
so cozy and warm! i LOVE these hues!!
Oh goodness, such delightful photographs- definitely warmed up my morning. Gorgeous post!!! xo
These colors are wonderful. Some quiet time with a cup of tea is just what I need right now. Hopefully I will get a chance soon.
Happy Wednesday, D.
love the first and last image of that sequence!
Love the colour saturation in these images!
Those pictures remind me of the last winter, that I miss already.

Just beautiful! It's cold and windy here too today. It always seems to be that way around US Thanksgiving. There's always issues with all of the balloons blowing all over for the parade :)
Stay warm!
lovely images!
I adore Winter, though seriously, was not expecting -10 quite yet! thank goodness for our super warm coats—brr! I cannot believe I ate gelato last night, but it was worth it. did you ever find ear muffs?
