Hello everyone! Sorry for the late start to the week, but I promise I have a really good excuse.
After posting about taking some time off last week, little did I know how wonderful that extra long weekend would turn out to be! After telling our family and friends, i'm beyond happy to share that Rick & I got engaged! It happened late Friday afternoon in the countryside, amongst the thunder and pouring rain, and it couldn't have been more perfect – a total surprise! It's been so great to tell everyone, share our news, and explain how it all happened... I feel like i'm in a little dreamland. But most of all... I get to call Rick my fiancé now, and i'm so looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together! So exciting!
P.S. I promise I won't go all "wedding blog" here on Dress, Design & Decor, but expect just a little inspiration here and there, I need your suggestions after all!

Oh thank you dagmara! I was going to show my ring, but felt kind of shy about it! lol... it's soooo beautiful though, Rick has such great taste! It's a thin plain platinum band with a diamond solitaire. I love it! Funny you say vintage though, as my Creative Director asked if it was an antique! It's perfect. I love it!
