I have been on the lookout for a new white shirt. I had one that I wore all the time, but the sleeves ended up too short. It's hard to find the perfect (affordable) button up.
That's so true! Jenna Lyons always talks about how many white button downs and black blazers she has (and how her husband doesn't get it) in interviews. Timeless, classic and versatile pieces are everything!

My sister and I are obsessed with finding the perfect white button up and between the two of us probably own 50!! Our favorites:For fitted, with slight stretch and flattering material when you need to look sharp and professional: TheoryFor the classic oxford cotton: RugbyFor the casual, thinner cotton, oversized fit: (not dress shirt material, just like a standard button up cotton): J. Crew "boyfriend" fit or whatever they call it. (This is my favorite for everyday, it doesn't look too "done up," is fine wrinkled.)For soft gauzy double-face weave linen with snap pockets: American Eagle (seriously. Perfect bathing suit cover up.)For slightly eccentric cuts and materials, like silk with military details, epaulets: Zara!Good luck finding your favorite(s)!
