a whirlwind month...

As with every Summer season, June has been proven to be quite a busy month already! There's so many little things I need to knock off my to-do list like planting more flowers and herbs for the balcony, cleaning out all my closets, and starting some design work for a friend's wedding invite. Then there's Rick's birthday and Father's Day, which are always great, and engagement party plans, including the invitation (which i'm very excited to design!). Somewhere in between all that though, i'd like to be making plans for a perfect picnic in the park, basket and blanket in tow, just to have some time to relax and daydream in the sunshine. It's one of my favourite things to do during the warmer weather, and i'm determined to have a few more outings as Summer moves ahead! We all know how quickly this time can fly by...

What's your favourite Summer outing?

Beautiful images to capture the most perfect date at the park...I would fancy something quite similar but at the coastal beaches of SoCal instead with a bonfire blazing in the background...ahhhhh love this time of year!

Sounds like you have such a fun filled month ahead!

So so so pretty, Daniella! Feels like a perfect Sunday afternoon... this month has been crazy, hasn't it? I have a feeling June will be the same, but thankfully, with longer, lighter days :)

Ahh, every time I see something wedding, I think of you... I was trying on my maid of honor dress just two days ago and thought of your special day. Hope all is well with you — sounds like you've been up to some great things!

xoxo,
Sarah

p.s I held off sending my gift as there is a darn mail strike :( Hoping to hear word that it's over soon! Will send you word as soon as it goes in the mailbox so you can watch out for it...

Thanks everyone! I love any pretty picnic pics! lol...

Julie - Aw that sounds like fun too!

Sarah - Thanks for thinking of me! I definitely have some ideas coming together as far as wedding inspiration goes, but just focusing on the engagement party and our engagement photos in August... i'll have to share some of all that here! Didn't know you were a maid of honour this year too! It's all so fun isn't it?

Crazy with this postal strike thing though. Sigh... i'm excited to see what arrives in the mail when they're off strike though! lol... that's really sweet of you.

Beautiful images!! That picnic looks perfect! I love going up to camp in the summer. Away from all electronics, spending time with friends, not having to cook, it's always a good time :)

Here in Milwaukee, we have a ton of fabulous ethnic and random festivals through out the summer and the biggest music fest (Summerfest which will have Kanye, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj among the few performing). So I try to visit as many festivals as possible. Also our downtown area is off the lake (Michigan) so going down there on lake drive, sitting in the car and reading/ppl watching or hanging out with friends is always fun.
