"There are only two places in the world where we can live happy:
at home and in Paris." –Ernest Hemingway
Almost everyone who knows me, knows of my love for Paris. And while so many people find the city to be such a huge inspiration, i'm sure there's a lot of people who just don't see it. For me though, there really is
something about Paris. My admiration for one of the most beautiful cities in the world has been totally reignited after watching Woody Allen's film,
"Midnight in Paris" last night. It's a gorgeous movie, but also surprisingly relatable. I won't spoil it for you, but i've definitely found myself thinking the same nostalgic thoughts as Gil (Owen Wilson's character) quite often, as life gets busier and busier...
Go see this movie if you can though, I highly recommend it. Especially for us creative types!
P.S. As expected, the fashion is fabulous.

I'm curious about the movie...
for some time, i'm longing to go and visit Paris... so far, all i ever had of it was rain (but with magical, magical rainbows seen around sunset from a restaurant up on the Eiffel tower) and airport... so it's high time, i guess.

Kariyah - Yes, definitely. I love that quote! It's so true for me.
Elle - Thanks for stopping by! Glad you're enjoying my blog :) Have a fantastic trip this Fall! I'm jealous!
Julie - You should totally see it! I may go back a second time, lol...
Joanna - I know! Any Paris photos make me want to go back... in a few years hopefully!
Karena - You'll love it!
Agnes - Oh no! There's so much more than rain and the airport, lol. It was like a whole other world for me! I went in April, and we had perfectly sunny 20˚C weather the whole time. It was great!
Isabelle - I keep meaning to pick it up to read... sounds like a good one. It'll have to be my next. I'm reading "The Paris Wife" now after seeing the movie... it's about Ernest Hemingway's wife Hadley, from her point of view... really good so far!
Isabelle - And by "it" I mean J'Adore New York, lol...
J'ADORE PARIS!!xx

I LOVED Midnight in Paris!
Oh, I can't wait to see this movie! I'm going on Friday with a girlfriend and can't wait.
You should definitely consider Paris for your honeymoon. We went there for ours and while the weather wasn't great the atmosphere was spectacular. Plus it gave me the opportunity to break out the trench coat and ballet flats!

The fashion/styling was great. I aslo thought that Rachel McAdams looked the best she's ever looked in a movie. And was Owen Wilson channelling Woody Allen or what?
Can't wait to see this film....xv
Oh my, Paris just can't help but be beautiful, can it?
Lovely pictures, Daniella... ahh, Paris! I cannot wait to see this movie :)
I can't wait 'til Midnight in Paris eventually makes its way to NZ, for, for me too, there is just something about Paris.

What beautiful pictures - somehow Paris manages to be grand and delicate at the same time...I think that's where the magic comes from. I keep hearing about that movie - I guess I need to go see it soon!
